Alejandra Navarro is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with nearly three decades of experience, primarily in higher education. She has expertise in communication and marketing strategy, copywriting, content creation, website management, social media campaigns, and brand development.
Alejandra was the associate director of editorial services for Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, a director of communications for Interact Communications, and a communications manager at the Foundation for California Community Colleges. At the Foundation, she worked on the Vision Resource Center, the professional development platform for all California community college employees, and the California Medicine Scholars Program, which is developing a pathway for community college students to reach medical school and practice in our underserved communities.
Alejandra started her career in journalism, covering higher education among other topics. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Women’s Studies from UC San Diego, a master’s in Journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and a master’s in Interactive Communications from Quinnipiac University.
