Emily Zimmer, Marketing & Events Coordinator for DCTC, was enjoying her Thanksgiving when she found out that the President of the United States would be visiting Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) to promote the passing of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill. Emily joins us today to talk about the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with the Secret Service, the White House Communications Team, and a variety of college staff to plan the event. We’ll discuss the behind-the-scenes details, challenges, and rewarding memories that come with having a role in hosting the President.
